Make plans now for Fall Concordia weekend!

Our annual Fall freshwater weekend outing to Lake Concordia is coming up.  Dates are Friday-Sunday, September 30 thru October 2.  The lodge house and motel rooms have been reserved for Friday and Saturday nights.  Some of the regulars are going, but others have been impacted by the flooding and had to back out.  As a result, we still have some bunks available in the lodge house, and a few motel rooms still being held.

Complete details - including a checklist of items to bring - is posted in the Club News Forum at www.laflyfish.com.

BR National Hunting and Fishing Day cancelled

Due to the impacts of the August 2016 Flood, Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has announced that the Baton Rouge venue for National Hunting and Fishing Day will be cancelled this year.  The Waddill facility was damaged by flood water, but more important, many of the volunteers and groups which make this event so successful were also impacted by the flood.  NHF Day will continue as planned at the other venues in Haughton, Woodworth and West Monroe on the 4th Saturday of September.
